Grace Stanke is a nuclear energy proponent and public figure, widely recognized as Miss America 2023. Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, she pursued her education in nuclear engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she developed a passion for promoting sustainable energy solutions and addressing climate change through nuclear power. Since graduating, Stanke has taken on the role of Nuclear Fuels Engineer & Clean Energy Advocate at Constellation, where she works in PWR Core Design.

As Miss America, Stanke leveraged her platform to raise awareness about the benefits of clean energy, including nuclear technology, and its role in creating a sustainable future. Her initiative, “Clean Energy, Cleaner Future,” focuses on educating communities about renewable and nuclear energy's potential to provide affordable, reliable, and environmentally friendly power. She has spoken at various events and collaborated with industry leaders to break down misconceptions surrounding nuclear energy.

Beyond her advocacy, Stanke is an accomplished violinist. Her ability to combine STEM advocacy with the arts underscores her well-rounded approach to leadership and education.
