Establishing an eclectic, custom club sound by playing largely his own originals, remixes and video edits, Grandtheft has slayed clubs worldwide and is respected as one of the best live DJs Canada has to offer. His music has garnered heavy support from the likes of Diplo, Major Lazer, A-Trak, Nadastrom, Jazzy Jeff, DJ AM, Digitalism and Craze and has also led to some big spins on BBC Radio 1 from DJ's Annie Mac, Skream & Benga, and Rob Da Bank.

Touring 150+ dates per year, his remixes and live sets have led to being booked as support for U2, Arcade Fire and Avicii, as well as being hand-picked by celebrities such as Seth Rogan and Paris Hilton to supply the soundtrack for their events. New Years 2012, Grandtheft performed live-to-air on national TV as the sole DJ for the MuchMusic throwback Electric Circus celebration.

Coming up under the wing of the late DJ AM, Grandtheft's reign as a part of Team Canada DJ's included playing clubs across the US and performing at several major Canadian events, including Canada Day on Parliament HIll (crowd of 100 000+) and being selected as the Official DJs to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

In early 2011, the dark sound of Grandtheft's "Let Me Out ft. Alixe Turner" caught the ear of Stretch Armstrong who released the record on Plant Music that spring. This debut single was co-written by Sinjin Hawke and featured stellar remixes by U-Tern, Danny Daze and Eli Escobar. He followed that up with summer club smashes "Gangsta Muzik" and "Splash" (T&A Records) which rose to #1 Overall Release on Turntable Lab.

Most recently, Grandtheft has delivered official remixes to labels like Universal, Interscope, Dim Mak and OM - including hit reworks for Drake and Steve Aoki. The biggest to date has been Grandtheft's collaborative remix with Grammy-nominated Diplo for Calvin Harris' 'Sweet Nothing' featuring Florence Welch which was released worldwide on December 11th via Ultra Records.
