Greg Corrado      

Principal Scientist & Director of Augmented Intelligence Research at Google Inc.

Greg Corrado is a senior research scientist interested in biological neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and scalable machine learning. He has published in fields ranging across behavioral economics, neuromorphic device physics, systems neuroscience, and deep learning.

At Google he has worked for some time on brain inspired computing, and most recently has served as one of the founding members and the co-technical lead of Google's large scale deep neural networks project.

Corrado is investigating the future of machine intelligence and its potential to improve the accuracy and availability of healthcare. Corrado works at the nexus of biological neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and scalable machine learning, and has published in fields such as behavioral economics, neuromorphic device physics, systems neuroscience and deep learning.

Corrado helped develop RankBrain, an artificial intelligence system that helps prioritize search engine results based on its interpretation of what users really want to know, rather than literal responses to their queries. Corrado speaks regularly on the importance of machine learning as a tool and has spoken at numerous interdisciplinary conferences around the world.
