Gregory Falco    

Co-founder, NeuroMesh; Postdoctoral Scholar, Stanford University

NeuroMesh provides endpoint security for smart devices and re-engineers malware to become a vaccine for the Internet of Things. Gregory Falco, a former NASA security researcher, founded the startup when he recognized the security vulnerability in Industrial IoT of electric grids, water networks and transportation infrastructure. He is featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Enterprise Technology.

In his role at Stanford University, Falco is researching cyber risk - specifically pertaining to the insurability of cyber. The Cyber Insurance industry has been stifled by the inability for insurers and reinsurers to understand their accumulation risk and non-affirmative cover for cyber. We're working to figure this out. He is also developing an interdisciplinary research agenda for cyber risk, with an eye towards cyber insurance.
