Gregory Rodriguez  

Irvine Senior Fellow and director of the California Fellows Program

is the Irvine Senior Fellow and director of the California Fellows Program at the New America Foundation. Rodriguez is an intellectual entrepreneur whose work focuses on integration, social cohesion, and civic engagement. In addition to his work at the New America Foundation, he is an op-ed columnist for the Los Angeles Times and the author of Mongrels, Bastards, Orphans, and Vagabonds: Mexican Immigration and the Future of Race in America (Pantheon, 2007). Rodriguez is also founder and executive director of Zócalo Public Square, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing big ideas to new, young, and diverse audiences.
