Guddi Singh        

Pediatric Doctor, Television Personality & Health Equity Advocate

Dr Guddi Singh is a pediatric doctor, health campaigner and TV broadcaster in London. Passionate about social justice and health equity, Dr. Singh has previously worked around the world, including with the World Health Organization, Health Education England and Medact. She is the current Advocacy lead for the British Association for Child and Adolescent Health and helps to manage the Centre for Health and the Public Interest, an independent health think-tank.

Dr. Singh has appeared as a TV broadcaster across major outlets including BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Al-Jazeera, and Sky News. She made her presenting debut on BBC Two's "Babies: Their Wonderful World," leading the largest-ever study on early child development. Her expertise played a pivotal role in the RTS award-winning "Why Is COVID Killing People of Colour?" which examined racial inequality during the pandemic. She continued this investigative work in two BBC "Two Horizon" specials and Channel 4's "How to Avoid a Second Wave," critically analyzing the UK's COVID-19 response. In 2022, Dr. Singh hosted BBC Two's "Your Body Uncovered," using augmented reality to help patients better understand their medical conditions.

Beyond her television work, Dr. Singh combines her interdisciplinary expertise with clear, accessible public communication across various platforms. She has written extensively on topics including the right to public healthcare, COVID-19, health inequality, air pollution, arts in health, and child poverty. A frequent guest on radio and podcasts, she also chairs live events, moderates intellectual debates, and interviews best-selling authors for the Intelligence Squared podcast.
