The world's leading organizations trust Khan to enhance modern leadership, inspire purposeful productivity, nurture lasting resilience, and navigate constant change. From TEDx stages and international conferences to MBA classrooms and Fortune 500 boardrooms, Khan routinely delivers keynotes and workshops worldwide. His clients include Microsoft, PepsiCo, LinkedIn, Deloitte, Salesforce, TikTok, and hundreds of colleges and universities.

Khan began his career in the North American post-secondary education sector, supporting students transitioning from high school through college and university to their dream careers. Upon graduating from the University of Toronto Scarborough, Khan joined the institution's Department of Student Affairs and was instrumental in growing its renowned Leadership Development Program, which became the largest and most dynamic in the country. From there, Khan went on to work at Toronto Metropolitan University, where, in two years, he helped establish the institution—a trailblazer in innovative, career-focused education—as a national leader in online student engagement. Next, Khan became one of the youngest Professors at Seneca College and played a vital role in developing Canada's first social media graduate certificate program.

Leaping to entrepreneurship, Khan would make waves as the co-founder of Splash Effect. This boutique impact-driven communications agency primarily served the education, non-profit, government, and healthcare sectors. He drew from his experiences building and leading award-winning teams in his first of two TEDx talks, "Stop Managing, Start Leading," which went viral and has amassed over 2 million views. These intertwined experiences put the wind in Khan's sails to co-found his next company, SkillsCamp, a soft skills development company that works with the likes of L'Oreal, Ubisoft, General Motors, General Electric, and Mercedes-Benz. Around this time, Khan published his first book, "The Burnout Gamble," which instantly became a best-seller. Khan subsequently became a top-rated instructor at Toronto Metropolitan University, teaching courses on professional communication. Further driven by a desire to support students' success, Khan served as the Managing Director of Student Life Network, Canada's most comprehensive resource hub dedicated to helping over 3 million students (and counting) across the country.

Reflecting on the leadership lessons he accumulated during the first "arc" of his career, Khan published "Leadership, Reinvented"—a book described as "one of the most important leadership books written in the 21st century." In 2022, Khan served as the 43rd Ashley Fellowship visiting scholar at Trent University, where he began exploring the connection between leadership and Indigenous concepts of ecological stewardship. Khan holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and has previously served in advisory roles with the Rotman School of Management and the Information and Communications Technology Council. He's now pursuing a Graduate Degree in Communication & Culture at Toronto Metropolitan University. His burgeoning research explores the connections between destructive leadership, employee well-being & engagement, and sustainability. Through his writing, speaking, teaching, and executive coaching, Khan empowers people to thrive in the future of work.
