Hana Schank is a Public Interest Technology Fellow at New America, a civic organization that encourages technological and social change. She also wrote the book The Ambition Decisions: What Women Know about Work, Family, and the Path to Building a Life. Schank wrote the research-based guide with Elizabeth Wallace.

Schank has written for CBSNews.com, and her writing has also appeared in Glamour and Lifeboat: A Journal of Memoir. She is the founder and president of Hana Schank Consulting, and an information-architecture and user-experience consultancy.

She has an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University.
