Rabbi Harold Kushner      

Prominent American Rabbi and Author

Harold Kushner is a prominent American rabbi and part time author.

He attended Columbia University prior to obtaining his rabbinical ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1960.  In 1972, he earned a doctoral degree in Bible from the same institution.

He has also studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the Harvard Divinity School where he earned six honorary doctorates.

Harold is also the author of the best selling book, "When Bad Things Happen to Good People."  He was inspired to write this book after the death of his son.  He has also written a number of theological books.
