Beckwith’s subsequent BusinessWeek bestsellers, The Invisible Touch and What Clients Love, brought his total sales worldwide to over 700,000 copies in 23 languages. His reading of What Clients Love was named one of 2003's top five business audio books, and his latest book, You, Inc, already has been named a Booksense Notable Book of the Year—an honor given to fewer than five business-related books annually.

Beckwith Partners advises financial and professional service clients on positioning, branding, consumer retention, communication strategies, and technology. The firm’s work has been featured in Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Inc. , Advertising Age and AdWeek, and has won The American Marketing Association’s highest honor, the Effie.

Beckwith graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University in 1972, won the national collegiate journalism award as a freshman, and was named Law Review Editor-in-Chief, the school’s highest honor. He then was appointed to a federal judicial clerkship before becoming a trial attorney in Portland, Oregon, and legal counsel to US Secretary of Transportation, Neil Goldschmidt.

Hired in1982 by Minneapolis’ international award-winning ad agency Carmichael-Lynch, Beckwith earned front-page news in City Business and the title Creative Supervisor in 1985—the swiftest promotion ever in the agency, which Advertising Age has twice named America’s Premier Creative Agency.

Beckwith serves on the Board of Directors of the Snowmass Institute, an international group devoted to helping businesses produce extraordinary outcomes, and has been nominated for the board of directors of the Smithsonian Institute.
