Harry Dent Jr.

Best-Selling Author, Economic Forecaster, Demographic Trends Expert

Harry S. Dent, Jr. is recognized as a best-selling author and an authoritative voice in economic forecasting. Utilizing proprietary research, he developed a unique method for studying economies worldwide, known as The Dent Method. This economic forecasting approach is rooted in demographic trends, helping to predict economic cycles and consumer behavior more effectively than traditional models that assume rational decision-making.

His professional journey includes working as a consultant at Bain & Company with several Fortune 100 companies, and he later became CEO of several growth companies. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of H.S. Dent Advisors and leads the independent research firm HS Dent Publishing.

Dent has addressed a global audience of executives, financial advisors, and investors, sharing his insights on demographic changes and their impact on markets. He has been featured on "Good Morning America," PBS, CNBC, CNN/Fox News, and is a regular guest on Fox Business's "America's Nightly Scorecard." His expertise is regularly sought in major publications such as Barron’s, Investor's Business Daily, Fortune, and The Wall Street Journal.

Over the years, Dent has authored several influential books, including "The Great Boom Ahead" in 1992, "The Roaring 2000s," and "Zero Hour" in 2017. His latest book, "Spending Waves," published in 2019, compiles extensive research across 200 businesses in 14 industries, providing valuable insights into future business and investing trends.
