Hayden Wood is Bulb’s co-founder and CEO. Bulb, the UK's biggest green energy supplier, has been named as the fastest growing private company in the UK. It aims to help its customers save money and save emissions. The company was founded in 2015 by Hayden and Amit Gudka and it has grown rapidly to a team of 450 based in London, serving more than 1.5 million customers.

The company uses technology to reduce costs, improve efficiency and customer service. Prior to founding Bulb, Hayden studied economics at LSE and spent 10 years as a management consultant, first at Monitor Group and then Bain & Company.

During his time working with one of the major UK energy suppliers, Hayden became aware of the inefficiencies inherent in traditional energy companies and the lack of affordable renewable energy options for UK consumers. He decided to use his industry experience to found Bulb, alongside old friend and co-founder Amit.

Hayden is a self-confessed vinyl addict. He’s also a lifelong Tottenham Hotspurs football fan, which has its ups and downs much like the wholesale energy markets.
