Hayes Barnard is an entrepreneur who has spent his career working on disruptive ideas. Barnard founded Loanpal, a lending company which has funded more than $25 billion in loans. He is also president of GivePower, a non-profit that uses clean energy technologies to deliver the most essential community services to the developing world.

Loanpal has been recognized as "One of the Best Places to Work" many times across multiple states, and Hayes has been the recipient of many awards, such as the 2010 and 2016 Global Impact Award, the Sacramento Business Journal's 40 Under 40, and a 2013 finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Prior to Loanpal and GivePower, Barnard was the founder and executive chairman of Paramount Equity Mortgage, LLC. He also founded, developed and sold Paramount Solar to Solar City/Tesla.
