For over 20 years, Heberto Gutirrez has been helping companies achieve results in the United States and Latin America. An entrepreneur and business owner, he founded INVENTIVA, a marketing, consulting and training firm based in Texas.

Heberto has worked with major organizations including Motorola, AT&T, Prudential, PacifiCare, Household Finance, Jim Beam, Arby's Restaurants, American Electric Power, Delta Faucets and International Paint. He is an insightful, compelling and entertaining speaker who gives real-life sales tools that can be put to use right away.

He was born in Mxico and educated in the United States. As a bicultural and bilingual marketer - English and Spanish, Heberto knows what works with each audience and what doesn't. He has been in demand as a keynote speaker, trainer and consultant in the U.S. and in more than 10 Latin American countries.

His firm, Inventiva, has been awarded the highest marketing achievement award, the Gold EFFIE, by the American Marketing Association New York Chapter. Heberto has also been recognized with the highest individual honor by the American Advertising Association, the Silver Star.

Before launching INVENTIVA, Heberto was General Manager/General Sales Manager of Univision's KWEX-TV station in San Antonio, and achieved double-digit sales growth each of the three years that he was in charge. Before that he was Vice President of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Southwest where he directed a sales staff of 65 to $16 million in annual revenues.

Community service is very important to Heberto. He is past Governor of the American Advertising Federation's 10th District, being the first Hispanic to serve in this position. He is also past Chairman of the Board for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and appointed by Texas Governor Rick Perry as a Commissioner for the State Emergency 9-1-1 Communications Commission.
