Heidi Brooks is a senior lecturer in Organizational Behavior at Yale School of Management and a recognized authority on culture change. She teaches and advises on the subject of everyday leadership, focusing on the everyday micro-moments of impact that shape our lived experiences. Brooks is particularly passionate about fostering courageous and effective organizational communities and specializes in large-scale culture change projects aimed at individual and collective leadership effectiveness in organizations.

Among her teaching repertoire, Brooks has taught the MBA elective "Interpersonal Dynamics" for over 15 years, establishing it as one of the most in-demand courses at Yale School of Management. In addition to this, she pioneered the "Everyday Leadership" course at SOM and has also taught "Emotional Intelligence," "Power & Politics," "Managing Groups & Teams," and "Coaching Skills for Managers." Furthermore, she is engaged in directing the Program for the Practice of Everyday Leadership at Yale SOM. Brooks received her Doctorate in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
