Helen Keaney, a seasoned actress, comedian, and host, started her career in NYC, performing at The Boston Comedy Club, The Comic Strip, and Stand-up NY. One of her early TV credits includes co-hosting “Short Attention Span Theater” on Comedy Central. Keaney's comedy skills were further honed while opening for Rich Hall on a college tour.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Keaney's TV appearances ramped up. It was also during this time that she joined Joanie Fagan and Maryellen Hooper on a North American theater tour with the "3 Blonde Moms." This successful tour culminated in a sold-out performance at the Jesu Theatre at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, marking Keaney's second appearance at the festival. Beyond comedy, Keaney expanded her repertoire, lending her acting skills to national television commercials for various products such as Clorox, Tylenol, Gateway, Degree Deodorant, Dr. Scholl's, Starkist, Thermacare, and Verizon. She also played the role of Diane in the 1987 cult classic film "Plutonium Baby" under her given name, Helen Rosenthal.

Throughout her career, Keaney has showcased her diverse talents. She voiced Nikki in the classic video game "Pandemonium" and made stand-up appearances on A&E’s “An Evening at the Improv," Lifetime’s “Girl’s Night Out,” VH-1’s “Stand-up Spotlight,” NBC’s “Friday Night,” and Comedy Central’s “Make Me Laugh." Additionally, she appeared in the feature film "The Tooth Fairy 2" with Larry the Cable Guy.

As a television host, Keaney's portfolio is quite extensive. In 2000 and 2001, she hosted "Lover's Lounge," a two-hour block of dating and relationship game shows on Game Show Network. She has also hosted TBS's "Movies For Guys Who Like Movies," GSN's "Caroline and Friends" (as a celebrity panelist alongside Ryan Hamilton), Discovery Health's "Sex Drive," and Style Network's "You're Invited."

In the last decade, Keaney has been busy as a host on HSN while also raising her daughter as a single mom. Nevertheless, she planned to return to touring in 2020. To Keaney's delight, she is back on the road, engaging audiences one table at a time.
