Henry B. Nguyen is the Managing General Partner of IDG Ventures Vietnam, a private equity firm focused on consumer, media and technology investments in Vietnam. Prior to founding IDG Ventures, he was a technology equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs and was a co-founder of S2S Medical Publishing and Medschool.com. Nguyen currently serves on the board the following companies: VC Corporation, VatGia, VTC online, Vega Technology Group, VinaPay and Goldsun Focusmedia. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of Operation Smile Vietnam and British University Vietnam, and is the Developmental Licensee for McDonald's in Vietnam. Nguyen is an Asia 21 Fellow of the Asia Society. He received a BA in Classics at Harvard University and an MD and MBA from Northwestern University's Medical School and Kellogg School of Management.
