Henry Shi cofounded SnapTravel in 2016 to make booking the perfect hotel room as easy as chatting with a friend over Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, Slack or Amazon Alexa. So far it's working: 1.7 million people have used SnapTravel and over 94% of bookings are completed without any human involvement. SnapTravel has raised over $9 million from investors. Despite his age, Shi has already started to give back and created two fellowships for students of Georgia Tech's online Master of Science in Computer science program, the first gift of its kind in the program's history. He was recently listed as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 for his work in Consumer Technology.
