Herb Adderley is a former football player in the NFL. He attended Michigan State University prior to joining the NFL.
In the 1961 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected him as the 12th overall pick. He became a cornerback in the NFL and became an All-NFL selection five times throughout his career. He still holds the Packers record for most interceptions returned for a touchdown in a career and in a game.
After 8 seasons with the Packers, he went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys for three more seasons before retiring. Overall, he has won 3 Super Bowls; two with the Packers and one with the Cowboys.
In 1980, Adderley was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
