Howard Gordon          

Howard Gordon is an American television writer and producer.

Co-creator and executive producer of the television series “Homeland”, winner of the 2012 Emmy and Golden Globe Award for best TV drama. The show, now in its second season on Showtime, is based on the popular Israeli drama “Hatufim” (“Prisoners of War”), one of the most controversial shows ever to air on Israeli television. Prior to this, Mr. Gordon was the showrunner and executive producer of the hit series “24.” A twenty-five year industry veteran, he first gained national attention for his award-winning work as executive producer of Fox’s groundbreaking series “The X-Files,” for which he won multiple Golden Globes. His other credits include “Angel,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Spenser: For Hire” and “Sisters.” He was also the creator and executive producer of the innovative 1999 drama “Strange World.” His first novel, “Gideon’s War,” was published in 2011, with a sequel, “Hard Target,” released in 2012.
