During his work at Keller International Publishing and Cahners (now Reed Elsevier), he built a global following by introducing multilingual journals and directories connecting manufacturers, distributors and end-users across several business categories. Foodservice Yearbook International, which he founded in 1990 and served as publisher, remains the standard resource for hoteliers, chain restaurants and institutional feeders worldwide. Howard has a B.S, Marketing from New York University, and served in the U.S. Navy. He is a volunteer Junior Achievement teacher in Palm Beach County, Florida, elementary school student mentor in East Greenwich, Rhode Island and has served on the board of Business and Industry for Arts in Education.
