Hyunwoo Yuk's research is focused on developing hydrogels and other soft materials for applications. These materials behave similarly to animal tissue, which makes them useful for prosthetics and other medical devices. His research is focused on human-device integration as well as the ability to 3D-print soft materials. He is currently working on mechanics, soft materials, robotics and bioengineering.
