Ian Fields, M.D., is a board-certified ob-gyn physician who is completing fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon.

Fields was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and moved to Chicago where he graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He attended Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago.

In addition to fellowship training, he is also obtaining his master’s in clinical research degree at OHSU. Fields is passionate about resident and medical student education, medical humanities, and health care for the underserved.
