Ice Cube, born O'Shea Jackson, is a rapper, actor, and filmmaker who rose to fame as a member of the groundbreaking rap group N.W.A. Known for his sharp lyrics and raw storytelling, Ice Cube was a key figure in the rise of gangsta rap in the late 1980s, contributing to N.W.A.'s influential album Straight Outta Compton. After leaving the group, he launched a successful solo career with albums like AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate. His solo output is known for containing harsh socio-political storytelling, and he has often been cited as an influence on future generations of rappers. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A in 2016.

In addition to his music, Ice Cube has built a notable career on the big screen appearing in about 40 films. He made his acting debut in the 1991 cult classic "Boyz n the Hood" and went on to star in and produce popular films such as "Friday," "Barbershop," and "21 Jump Street." He also founded his own production company, Cube Vision.
