Mr. Burakovskiy holds a PhD in economic studies and is a professor in the department of economic theory at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a member of the American Association for Comparative Economic Studies. Mr. Burakovskiy is one of the leading experts in the project of Public Expert Monitoring of Fulfillment of the Agenda for the Ukraine-EU Association. He graduated from the faculty of international relations and international law of the T. Shevchenko National University and has studied at Birmingham University (United Kingdom), the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Stanford University (USA). Mr. Burakovskiy has also worked as a chief economist at the East-West Institute. He specializes in the analysis of problems associated with economic reform in transitional economies, integration processes, international trade and trade policies.
