Ime Archibong is a Vice President and Head of Product at Meta, overseeing teams responsible for building messaging experiences across Meta, including Messenger and Instagram Direct. Previously, Archibong led a product R&D organization as the Head of New Product Experimentation (NPE) at Meta, focusing on building new product bets. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President of Product Partnerships, leading a global team responsible for driving product and platform integrations with strategic partners, startups, and developers. Archibong began his career as a software engineer, corporate strategist, and advanced technology business development professional at IBM.

Archibong holds a degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Yale University, where he captained the men’s basketball team. Archibong received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he served as the class president. Archibong is a listed inventor on more than a dozen technical patents and serves as a Capital One corporate board director, in addition to a few nonprofits focused on underserved youth, education, and entrepreneurship.
