Ms. Starodubova joined the team of Horizon Capital in March 2006. She has extensive experience in a number of industries including FMCG, construction materials and industrial manufacturing. Prior to joining Horizon Capital, Ms. Starodubova served for ten years as a top manager at AVK, the second largest confectionery in Ukraine. As CEO of AVK, she led the company through four M&A transactions. Prior to her appointment as CEO, she served as CFO of the firm, completing the first issue of corporate bonds by a FMCG company in Ukraine. Ms. Starodubova has extensive experience with both modern financial mechanisms and accounting systems. Her deep understanding of local corporate culture and managerial talent is a great asset to Horizon Capital in every stage of the private equity business. Ms. Starodubova received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from International Management Institute (MIM) in 2005. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Donetsk Polytechnic Institute in 1980, majoring in Economics.
