Isotta Cleps is committed to social change through education and the empowerment of people to build a better future for themselves. After finishing her BA(Hons) in Anthropology and Communications Studies (Goldsmiths College, London) she was part of the original founding duo of luxury footwear label Charlotte Olympia. A change of career and solo trip through Russia and SE Asia were followed by a Masters in Migration and Diaspora Studies (SOAS, London). The day after handing in her dissertation, Isotta jumped on a plane and joined the Ayesha Foundation, working to improve student livelihoods, nutrition and educational standards in Boossa, Sri Lanka. UNICEF and L'Association AOM provided two solid foundation of experience in Geneva, allowing me to gain further insight into the UN as well as setting up a social enterprise focussing on community building and holistic health. In May 2011, Isotta joined the McCall MacBain Foundation in Geneva, a private donor foundation based in Geneva. As Grant Officer, Isotta is responsible for assessing and monitoring the Foundation?s innovative philanthropy in Liberia, West Africa, as well as programs in N. America, Canada and Europe. Program areas include health, education and environmental conservation. A citizen of the UK and Italy, Isotta has travelled widely and is committed to promoting a more equitable world for all.
