J.C. Snead is a member of both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour.

He began his career in professional sports in baseball as a member of the Washington Senators farm system.  He later gave that up and became a professional golfer in 1964.  He became a member of the PGA Tour in 1968.

Throughout his career, he won eight tournaments on the PGA Tour.  Snead also played on the Champions Tour where he won four tournaments.  He is a three-time member of the US Ryder Cup team.

Although he never won a major on the PGA Tour, he is known for being one of the tour's most consistent players with more than $7 million in career earnings.

J.C. Snead is the nephew of the legendary golfer, Sam Snead.  J.C. currently resides in Hobe Sound, Florida.
