J. Douglas Holladay    

Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University & Co-Founder of Park Avenue Equity Partners

Doug Holladay is co-founder of Park Avenue Equity Partners, L.P. with offices in New York and Washington. While Mr. Holladay continues as an active private equity investor, his main focus has him leading Pathnorth Inc, which seeks to help leaders ‘broaden their definitions of success.’ In addition, Mr. Holladay teaches at the business school of Georgetown University and sits on a number of boards including Morehouse College, CNL, and other for profit and non profit initiatives. He is currently finishing a book with Harper Collins concerning vital questions one must ask to have a life of thriving.

Previously, Doug was a senior officer at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the investment banking division, and held senior positions in both the White House and the Department of State.

After working under White House Chief of Staff, James A. Baker III, Doug was appointed by the President to the personal rank of Special Ambassador, charged to coordinate major aspects of the U.S. public response to the challenges posed by South Africa prior to the dramatic release of Nelson Mandela. He was executive producer of the PBS documentary, “The Question of God.”

Doug holds a BA from the University of North Carolina, an MA from Princeton Theological Seminary and a MLitt from Oxford University.
