He was born in Amman, Jordan in 1990, he currently lives in the US where he moved in 2009 to pursue his music.

The Beatles wrote the book in my opinion, as far as my influences are concerned. Tom Petty, Damn the Torpedoes is one of my all-time favorite albums. Elvis is another amazing artist, as well as the Police. The list is really long and diverse. Those guys are great and have helped shape me as a musician and a songwriter. I also love a lot of current artists on the radio today. Anyone whos making music that gets me excited and makes me want to get to my guitar ASAP and write inspires me. I always remember where I am and what Im doing the moment I first hear a great new song like Teenage Dream or I Knew You Were Trouble. On one hand Im super excited to have just heard it, and on the other hand its like why didnt I think of that first? Im a big Dr. Luke fan; he co-wrote Teenage Dream with Katy Perry and also produced it. He is definitely one of my songwriting heroes, as well as Max Martin, Shellback and many others. Theyve all been involved with a lot of great records recently. Id love to write and record with those guys someday. Jaafars music is a blend of the greats that he has grown up listening to; be it rock stars from decades past or the in your face hit makers of today. Currently Jaafar is recording new music and preparing to go on the road in early 2013.
