Jack Armstrong is one of the most recognizable and respected faces on the Canadian Basketball landscape. Otherwise known as “The Coach”, Armstrong is a popular broadcaster, having covered the Toronto Raptors on Raptors TV, the NBA and NCAA for TSN, as well as covering the Toronto sports scene on the FAN 590. Armstrong is also the host for the Fan 590 weekday radio show, “The Game Plan” and blogs regularly for TSN.ca alongside his regular hosting duties.

Prior to his broadcasting career, Jack Armstrong spent 14 years as an NCAA Division 1 Coach, after two years as a High School Coach at Nazareth High School in Brooklyn, NY. He spent four years as an Assistant at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY and then 10 years at Niagara University.

The Brooklyn, NY native is widely known for his candor, in depth insight, enthusiasm and gregarious sense of humour. Armstrong’s ability to connect with audiences regarding teamwork, goal setting & priorities, leadership, relationships and work-ethic make him a very popular speaker. His talks are filled with humour and his anecdotes touch on the "Game of Life". His easy-going personality and approachable style make him a hit with audiences.
