Co-Founder of Proenza Schouler

Jack McCollough, along with partner Lazaro Hernandez, founded Proenza Schouler, a New York based modern luxury label. The two designers met at Parsons School of design in 1998 and launched their brand after Barney's bought their collaborative senior collection in its entirety in 2002. In 2003, Proenza Schouler was awarded the CFDA Perry Ellis Award for new talent, and the inaugural CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2004. Proenza Schouler received the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award in 2007 and 2011 (for which they were also nominated in 2006 and 2008.) They launched their first collection of shoes and handbags in 2008, and were then awarded the CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Award in 2009. They were also nominated for this award in 2010 and 2011.
