Dr. Jack O. Taylor holds a Master of Science Degree in Biology/Human Nutrition from Bridgeport University in Connecticut in addition to his Doctor’s degree from Logan College in St. Louis, Missouri. He is licensed by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. He holds Diplomate Status with the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. While practicing in Illinois he was licensed by the State of Illinois as a Nutrition Counselor/Dietitian. In February, 2006, he was elected a member of the examining board of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition.

Dr. Taylor was featured in a chapter of the book Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide to Cancer by W. John Diamond, M.D., and W. Lee Cowden, M.D., published by Burton Goldberg and Future Medicine Publishing in 1998. Natural Pharmacy, a monthly news magazine for the retail pharmacist, has published numerous articles he has written including Nutritional Support for Vision and the Eyes, Nutritional Support for the Cardiovascular System, and Calcium Supplementation, Clearing Up the Confusion. The October 1998 issue of the Journal of American Chiropractic Association published Taming a Monster, Premenstrual Syndrome: Causes and Treatments. He is the author of two technical manuals: Metabolic Assessment from Standard Medical Tests, and Nutritional Supplement Use, Formulation, and Production. A compilation of his writings was recently published in Germany under the title Das Taylor Protokoll.

Dr. Taylor is Past Director of Research of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition. He has been a featured speaker at 5 pharmacy conventions, a national physical medicine convention, and home health care seminars. In Europe he was featured at two cancer survivor’s conferences in London and spoke on Alternative Health at conferences at several locations in Germany, the Czeck Republic and Russia.

During 1992 and 1993 Dr. Taylor served on the advisory board of the committee on diet and nutrition of the National Institute of Health’s Office of Alternative Medicine. He also served on the NIH committee investigating grant applications for alternative procedures and therapies concerning diet and nutrition.

Dr. Taylor has a private practice (see www.biotor.com), using an integration of natural therapies centered on nutrition and metabolic modalities. His patients include professional athletes, health-oriented individuals, and many suffering from chronic degenerative diseases. Lately, follow-up care has become a major portion of his private practice. As medical procedures, both alternative and conventional, meet with more success in treating crisis situations, there is an increasing need for individual follow-up care. He is a consultant for many clinics and individual practitioners in the field of nutrition and blood chemistry.

Dr. Taylor suggests that you are not healthy unless every part of your body is doing the job that it could be doing. You enjoy optimum health when every part of your body is working to its best efficiency. Dr. Taylor is very anxious to give advice about what causes health.
