Jackie Farley  

High energy, time traveling messenger in-tune with audiences of every generation

Jackie has worked in higher education for over twenty years and has built a resume of working and understanding students, faculty and staff. As a college professor still teaching in Women's and Gender Studies, she has a unique connection and approach with her audiences. She is funny and insightful and brings a collegiate feel to each of her presentations.

Jackie has brought her unique messages and training to the University of Oklahoma, the City of Norman, the Department of Human of Services, the Chamber of Commerce, the International Concierge and Lifestyle Management Association, the Norman Convention and Visitors Bureau, Norman Women's Entrepreneurs, the National Recreation and Intramural Sports Association, Norman Regional Health System, Provost Conference on Academic Advising and various other business and governmental entities.

Jackie worked at the University of Oklahoma as the Director of Recreational Services and as adjunct professor in Health and Sport Sciences, Liberal Studies, University College and Women's and Gender Studies. As a recreation professional, she was honored by students as the Outstanding Administrator and as an instructor she was recognized as teacher of the year. As the Director of Recreation, Jackie supervised fifteen professional staff and over three hundred and fifty students. She served as the Chair of the Staff Senate and President of the Professional Staff Association. Jackie served on multiple search committees and advisory committees.

Jackie was in the first class of Title IX athletes at the University of Oklahoma and served as the first co-captain of the University of Oklahoma women's basketball team She was the team most valuable player during her senior season at OU. She was the staff representative on the Commission on Women's Athletics and was on the search committee that hired Coach Sherri Coale as the women's basketball coach at Oklahoma. She continues her involvement with the women's basketball program on a regular basis.

Jackie owns Wise Women Incorporated, a concierge and lifestyle management company. She serves on the board of directors for ICLMA. She is a Certified Concierge Specialist and a Certified Recreation Specialist. Jackie is active with several non-profit boards.

Jackie developed her philosophy of work to live after spending too many years of living to work and brings that message to each of her presentations.
