Simmons, executive editor of global business at Bloomberg, is an 18-year veteran of Bloomberg in Europe. Prior to her appointment as executive editor, she ran a team that oversaw breaking news on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. Her earlier roles at Bloomberg include reporter-at-large for M&A, investment-banking correspondent and European consumer and retail reporter. Simmons began her career in journalism at the Wall Street Journal.
