Professional Basketball Player for the Las Vegas Aces; Three-Time WNBA All-Star, Two-Time WNBA Champion & Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist

Jackie Young is a professional basketball player competing with the Las Vegas Aces in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was selected as the first overall draft by the Las Vegas Aces in the 2019 WNBA draft, setting the stage for a successful career in the sport. Young further established her prominence internationally by securing a gold medal in Women's 3x3 basketball at the 2020 Summer Olympics, followed by a gold medal in 5x5 basketball at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Young's tenure with the Las Vegas Aces has been marked by a series of remarkable achievements, including clinching the WNBA championship in both 2022 and 2023. Her performance in the 2022 season also earned her recognition as the WNBA Most Improved Player. Young was selected as a WNBA All-Star thrice from 2022 to 2024 and was named to the All-WNBA Second Team in 2023. The same year, she was part of the Commissioner’s Cup champion team and earned a spot on the All-WNBL First Team.

Aside from her work with the Las Vegas Aces, Young also played internationally in countries such as Turkey for Elazığ İl Özel İdarespor, in Israel for A.S. Ramat Hasharon, and in Australia for the Perth Lynx. During the 2021-2022 season, she was named the MVP for Perth Lynx and was a runner-up for the overall league MVP. In addition, Young will compete in the inaugural season of Unrivaled, a new women's 3x3 basketball league, in 2025.
