Jacob Johnson is the founder and CEO of Calyan Wax Co., a social venture focused on crafting top notch candles and giving back to end human trafficking in America which he founded in 2017.

After learning about human trafficking as a criminal justice major at the University of North Texas, Johnson decided to launch Calyan Wax, which donates 5% of sales to nonprofits. Its all-soy candles, which carry the tagline "bringing light to a dark world," are sold at Whole Foods, Sprouts, HEB's Central Market and Fresh Thyme. As of November 2024, Calyan Wax has donated over $750,000 to strategic nonprofits working to give freedom and justice to brave survivors of human trafficking.

Johnson was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2024.
