Founder & CEO of Victory Strategies, Author, Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School, Former Navy SEAL

In business, Jacob Werksman started Victory Strategies with his life savings to pursue his belief in the American Dream. Victory Strategies is a leadership development, training, and coaching firm whose primary purpose is to help leaders accelerate their leadership and performance through embracing the possible. He began by assembling a world-class team of professionals from the most elite communities in the world. These leadership practitioners include Navy SEALs, Fortune 500 Executives, Olympic Athletes/Coaches, TOPGUN Fighter Pilots, and High-Performing Entrepreneurs. Through other formal and informal capacities, Werksman provides strategic advisory to several businesses and organizations throughout the world.

In academia, Werksman conducts research, collaborates, and teaches as an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School (HBS) and engages in various executive education programs as an executive leadership coach to global executives during their time in Boston. Outside of Harvard Business School, Werksman is an adjunct professor in leadership at the University of Central Florida and has guest lectured at academic institutions throughout the world.

In the news, Werksman was awarded a position in Orlando Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2019, and in 2020, Orlando Business Journal named Werksman as a Veteran of Influence. In 2021, Werksman was named one of the Next 1000 Entrepreneurs by Forbes.

In publishing, Werksman is the author of, “Leadership A Life Sport: a Playbook on what it takes to win as an individual and as a team.”

In the classroom, Werksman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Believing in the value of continuous education, Werksman has also attended executive certificate programs at the following institutions: Georgetown University, University of Oxford, Columbia University, and Harvard Business School.

In service, and prior to starting Victory Strategies, Werksman served in the United States Military as a Navy SEAL. Since separating from his military service, Werksman continues his passion for giving back through active and regular charitable engagements and sits on several non-profit boards to include The Orlando Police Foundation.
