Jake Delhomme is an inspirational former football quarterback who began his professional career as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 1997. He later became a key player for the Carolina Panthers from 2003 to 2009, leading them to three playoff appearances and an NFC championship in his first season. During his time with the Panthers, Delhomme set a franchise record with seven game-winning drives in the 2003 season alone and eventually finished his tenure with the team as the leader in career game-winning drives with 21.
