Jameela Jamil is a British television presenter, radio presenter, podcast host, model, and actress. Jamil is known for her work starring in Mike Schur’s Golden Globe-nominated series for NBC, "The Good Place," and as a judge on HBO Max's "Legendary".

Prior to her breakout role on "The Good Place," Jamil appeared on various Channel 4 programs and was a presenter of "T4." She served as co-host on "Freshly Squeezed" alongside Nick Grimshaw and presented "The Closet," an online fashion advice show on the social networking site Bebo. Jamil is also a former host of The Official Chart and was co-host of The Official Chart Update, alongside Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1.

In addition to her broadcast work, Jamil has also fronted a TV ad campaign for Maybelline and has been featured in many publications, including gracing the covers of The Guardian, The Times, Stylist, Red, and US Nylon as well as featured in Allure, Elle, Glamour, UK Vogue, Cosmo, InStyle, PAPER, Marie Claire UK, Grazia and Esquire to name a few. As a journalist who penned a monthly column for Company Magazine, she was nominated for columnist of the year at both the PPA Awards and the BSME Awards.

An outspoken feminist, Jamil champions body positivity and a healthy self-image. She has also spoken out about living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, or EDS, and anorexia. Jamil has been outspoken about the long-term impact anorexia has had on her body in an effort to raise awareness of its dangers, citing bone density issues and damage to her kidney, liver, digestive system, and heart. In 2018, Jamil launched a movement and social media platform @i_Weigh, which encourages women to feel valuable and look beyond the flesh on their bones. The movement has been recognized by both media outlets and the movement’s hundreds of thousands of followers all over the world.
