James is a lecturer, practitioner and campaigner in the digital marketing field.

Currently based in north west France, he works as a consultant for businesses in Europe and also lectures in digital marketing for Grenoble Ecole de Management. He was formerly the CEO of niche UK digital PR and comms agency, Social:haus.

His specialisms include online community management, political campaigning and media advice. He has extensive digital campaigning experience and appears on Klout.com's list of Top UK Influencers on Social Media.

Targeted campaigns devised and run by James have varied in audience size from almost 500,000 people to a handful and have ranged from local to international. He has executed campaigns which involve multiple media platforms in order to reach and engage with audiences for maximum impact.

He was cohost of the highly successful PhotoLegal podcast and has presented to a number of conferences and organisations including the inaugural LikeMinds, CILIP's Umbrella and to the BCS/Chartered Institute for IT.

James is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
