James Harden Jr. is a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clipper of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Known for his scoring prowess, ball-handling skills, and unique playing style, Harden has earned acclaim for his offensive abilities and leadership on the court. He is also a two-time member of the United States national team, winning gold medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2014 FIBA World Cup.

Harden's journey to basketball stardom began at Arizona State University, where he played college basketball and garnered attention for his scoring ability and versatility. In the 2009 NBA Draft, he was selected as the third overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder. During his early years in the league, Harden established himself as a key player, contributing to the Thunder's success and earning the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award for the 2011-2012 season.

In 2012, Harden was traded to the Houston Rockets, a move that marked a turning point in his career. As the focal point of the Rockets' offense, he became known for his signature step-back three-pointers and exceptional scoring ability. Harden's offensive mastery led to multiple NBA scoring titles, showcasing his knack for putting up impressive point totals.

Throughout his career, Harden has earned numerous accolades, including multiple All-Star selections, All-NBA Team honors, and the NBA MVP award for the 2017-2018 season. After requesting a trade at the beginning of the 2020–21 season, Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets as part of a four-team trade. With Brooklyn, he was named to his ninth and tenth consecutive All-Star games before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers at the 2022 trade deadline. In 2023, Harden led the league in assists for the second time in his career.

Off the court, Harden is known for his philanthropy work. He has been involved in various community initiatives, focusing on education and providing opportunities for underserved youth.
