James Pond, MA is a US Marine Corps veteran and the Executive Director of Veteran’s PATH, working to enable veterans to rediscover meaning, purpose and joy in their lives. James is an experienced nonprofit leader as well as an avid mindfulness practitioner, who brings personal experience and unwavering dedication to his work facilitating restoration and healing.

As a passionate advocate, James has extensive experience in helping survivors of trauma find hope and healing. He is an internationally recognized authority on human trafficking issues around the world and in the United States, where he has influenced policy and understanding of issues surrounding the needs of sexually trafficked youth. James was awarded a Commendation from the Department of Homeland Security for his work assisting in the arrest and prosecution of pedophiles in the United States.

After more than a decade working to combat human trafficking, James brought his experience as a non-profit leader, veteran, mindfulness practitioner, and passionate advocate together to guide his work with veterans as Executive Director of Veteran’s PATH as they grow nationally in their mission to help veterans journey forward.
