Jameson Rogers

Strategy Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, Biotechnologist, Data Scientist

Jameson is a biotechnologist and data scientist. He was named a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 and is the author of several scientific articles and patents. During a PhD supervised by Professor George Church at Harvard University, Jameson co-invented a new class of bio-manufacturing strategies that accelerate biotechnology development by more than 1000-fold. Jameson has initiated a new chapter in sustainable chemical production by addressing the primary bottleneck in bio-based chemical production. Early applications of the technology include the first-ever renewable production of the industrial chemical acrylate and enhanced production of several other commercially important compounds.

Jameson has worked in the venture capital industry and advised biotech startups on business and scientific strategy. As a summer associate with Flagship Ventures, Jameson nucleated new ventures addressing aging, agriculture and drug delivery. Other consulting and advising engagements span a wide array of technologies. Jameson assisted in developing the product discovery pipeline for Pronutria Biosciences, a protein therapeutic company. He advised Seres Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MCRB) on quality control strategy and was an early advisor to the “smartlab” startup BioBright. Jameson is currently a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.
