As senior vice president of Teachers' Private Capital and Infrastructure, Jane Rowe is responsible for strategic portfolio growth, deal stewardship and management of the Private Capital and Infrastructure portfolios, which together represent almost $22 billion in assets under management. As of October, Rowe will have additional responsibilities for the organization's international strategy and for the Long Term Equities group. Before joining Teachers' in 2010, she had a more than 20-year career at Scotiabank Group, where she held a number of senior roles, her last post being executive vice president for special accounts management and retail credit risk. Rowe is an advisory board member for Memorial University's School of Business and an international advisory board member for the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. She received an M.B.A. from the Schulich School and a B.Comm from Memorial University. She has ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
