Jared Polis currently holds the position of the 43rd Governor of Colorado, a role he has carried out since 2019. His career in public service is extensive, reaching back to a term served on the Colorado State Board of Education from 2001 to 2007. Prior to his governorship, Polis was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Colorado's 2nd district, serving from 2009 to 2019.
