Co-Founder & CEO at Ready.net; Co-Founder & Former CEO at Neighborly

Jace Wilson grew up in rural America, studies cities and networks, and has built a few tech companies. He is passionate about ensuring access to the internet for all and believes local providers with the right tools can solve America's digital divide. As Founder and CEO of Ready.net, he helps local ISPs grow, operate, and finance network upgrades, to ensure rural Americans can access network-dependent remote services like telehealth. His commitment to digital access for all, coupled with innovative approaches and strategic partnerships, continues to drive Ready.net's impact and growth.

Prior to Ready.net, Wilson was the co-founder and CEO of Neighborly, a technology startup focused on financing and deploying fiber-optic broadband infrastructure in communities around the U.S. to bridge the digital divide. Previous to their broadband endeavors, Neighborly facilitated municipal bond investments to finance community infrastructure, including schools, libraries, bike paths, and parks.

Wilson studied urban planning and design to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Missouri - Kansas City, and IT and cities for his Master of City Planning degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While at MIT, Wilson consulted for several domestic and international city governments on the use of digital technology and authored a thesis on using Web-based technologies to deepen civic engagement. As an undergraduate, he founded Luminopolis, a civic software agency.
