Jasmine Crowe is a social entrepreneur and founder and CEO at Goodr Co., Goodr is a sustainable food surplus management company that leverages technology to reduce food waste and feed the hungry.

The app that connects places that manage large amounts of food (and even catered events like galas and weddings) to the hungry and in need. Goodr connects restaurants and other food-producing clients (who can track their donation tax write-off in the app) to the drivers that will transfer the leftovers to a charity or food bank. The app tracks deliveries and allows for testimonials from the food’s recipients. So far, the company said it has diverted about 900,000 pounds of surplus food to community groups in the Atlanta area.

Previously, Crowe was the founder and editor of BlackCelebrityGiving.Com, a media platform for celebrity philanthropists and community organizations alike. The site showcased goodwill and positive doings in the black communities around the world. Viewers could find rare content matched with photos and videos of celebrities, foundation spotlights and ways to support one of thousands of causes to make our world a better place.

Crowe has a Bachelor's in Mass Communication from North Carolina Central Univerisity and a Master's in Non-Profit Management from Arizona State University.
