Olympic Bronze Medalist Figure Skater

Jason Brown's journey into the world of figure skating began in 1999. The American figure skater quickly rose through the ranks and has since established an impressive track record in the sport. Brown's list of accomplishments includes being a nine-time Grand Prix medalist, a two-time Four Continents medalist (2020 silver, 2018 bronze), the 2015 U.S. national champion, and a two-time World Junior medalist (2013 silver, 2012 bronze). Some of his notable victories include the 2011 Junior Grand Prix Final and the 2010 Junior National Championship. His skills also shone on the international stage when he won a bronze medal in the team event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Brown's achievements are not limited to his personal competitions. He has also made significant contributions to team events, such as the 2023 World Team Trophy, where he captained Team USA to a gold medal victory. His performance at the 2022 Winter Olympics, where he finished sixth in the men's event, further underscores his impact on the sport. In the 2023-2024 season, he kicked off at the Japan Open and steered Team North America to a silver medal finish. Brown's dedication to his craft is evident in his resilience, as seen when he sustained a concussion in 2019 but still bounced back to win the silver medal at the 2019 Skate America and the gold medal at the 2019 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb.

Outside the rink, Brown showcases a diverse set of skills and interests. He plays the piano and speaks Japanese, indicating his appreciation for arts and culture. Brown also serves as an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community since coming out as gay in June 2021. He has been coached by figure skating heavyweights Brian Orser and Tracy Wilson, which is a testament to the high level of training he has received. Brown has made a name for himself as an accomplished figure skater and a versatile individual with a rich array of talents and experiences.
